Back in 1987 SilverSprings opened as a 10 bedroom hotel. Over the years we've been through a lot of changes…
For many years SilverSprings operated as a 10 bedroom luxury hotel providing an affordable alternative to the large hotels situated in Exeter and additionally providing a much more personal service.
As the volume of hotel accommodation grew in Exeter, it became clear that there was a need for alternative styles of accommodation, particularly serviced apartments. Having operated serviced apartments from next door to the hotel for a number of years (The Isca and Richmond apartments) and our large Edwardian apartment “St Just” in Pensylvania Road; we made the decision to convert SilverSprings into an “Apartment Hotel”.
No expense was spared during the conversion - Almost the entire inside of the building had to be ripped out to allow for a steel framework to be built within the four walls. Atop the framework, the 5 luxury apartments were constructed to the highest specification and finished to an exacting standard.
We hope you'll agree when you visit that the end result is very pleasant!
